Our methodology

The derived score combines sample source percentile (35%), bounded growth (25%), freshness (20%) and corroboration (20%). Missing history means growth is unavailable and contributes zero. A sample percentile is not a ranking of the whole web. Confidence is a heuristic, not a probability of truth. We never infer country popularity from global HN points.
